![]() ![]() I'd take the path of least resistance and output the audio into the Kronos and route it direct into the FX bus and back into Cubase. I think you would need to set up some device panels configured for the Kronos. Would I go to external effects tab for this (under vst connection)? if so and once connected with an audio interface how would Cubase know which effects I want to use? Using Cubase 5, I want to use the Kronos MFX and TFX in cubase. Now i'm running out of my advance so i wont be buying anymore plugs for a while. love sticking this on background parts or for weird vocal FX the Korg MS-20 filter from the legacy pack. my ear's aren't tuned up enough to hear the differences in input modelling. good with backing vocals and more paddy stuff. Izotope O-zone 3 - usually tweak from the CD master + st enhancer preset if i need a quick bounce for someone to take awayĪbbey Road TG12412_1969 - just bought this. PSP Mix Saturator - amazing on live drums. Guitar Rig 3 - All the presets are great on this and it's so flexible.Īmplitube 2 - Mainly use this for cleaner fender amp type sounds Waves TrueVerb - doesn't seem to tax the CPU too muchĪltiverb 6 - Love the Cello Chamber on this.įabFilter Pro-C - love using this to get a bit of movement on quite dull sequences Waves API 2500 - my favourite bus comp at the moment. ![]() Waves SSL Comp - sometimes on the mix buss for some punch I wish I could find more use for the Helios 69 but it never quite works on my material. This list doesn't even include the instruments.ġ176LN, 1176SE, LA2A, LA3A, Neve 1073, Neve 88RS, Pultec, Fairchild, ModFilter, P Limiter, and the RE-201 PSP MasterQ and Vintage Warmer (don't get used much but there for when I need them) Voxengo Marquis (another dynamics plugin that I'll occasionally use to abuse drums)įabfilter Volcano & Timeless (for crazy filter and delay effects)Įlemental Audio effects (oldies but goodies, Neodynium in particular is magical)Įlevayta Klean Boy (good inexpensive noise reduction) Kjaerhus line of plugins (commercial and freeware, I've got the whole set)īlue Cat Dynamics (does spiky sharp compression very very well, loves abuse) ![]() Watkat (awesome free and very vintage sounding delay) GS-201 (Space Echo emulation that actually sounds like a vintage RE-201) VB3 (technically an organ instrument, but it has the bets rotating speaker around) Sonalksis MK-315 (good all rounder compressor) TBT Audio 2095-LA (another cool TBT compressor, great on drums)īootEQ Mk II (AMAZING preamp and tube section) TBT Audio 3127-LEA (simple compressor that sounds great on electric bass) Things that get used less, but I still reach for when needed: PSP sQuad (ClassicQ and ConsoleQ in particular are amazing)ĬSR (the only reverb I feel I need that isn't Plate140)Īmplitube products (these are the best sounding amp sims IMO)įabfilter Pro-C (cleanest most transparent and versatile compressor I can think of) PSPMixpressor (this is a very gooey sounding compressor) IIEQ (amazingly clean and flexible EQ, pay what you want)Įlectri-Q (more filter types than you can shake a stick at, very versatile) Non-UAD things that still get a LOT of use:Īudio Damage plugins (I own ten or so of them, and use them a lot) And I don't use the native stuff because I've maxed out my UAD's either, I use them because the stuff on this list is excellent in its own right. There's just too much good native stuff to ignore. I still use A TON of native effects even with a UAD2 Duo and a UAD1. ![]()
